Cryotherapy / CryoPen® Treatment
At Alness Pharmacy we offer a private CryoPen® cryotherapy service for the treatment of selected benign (non-suspicious) skin lesions.
Cryotherapy works by using a fine jet of extremely cold nitrous oxide to freeze targeted skin lesions quickly and precisely, helping to remove or reduce unwanted areas with minimal disruption to the surrounding skin. Common examples may include skin tags, age spots, cherry angiomas, verrucas and other benign lesions.
Treatment is provided following an initial assessment by a trained practitioner to ensure the lesion appears suitable for cryotherapy treatment.
Important Information

Private treatment costs start from £20 per lesion, however final pricing will be confirmed during the initial appointment assessment.

Some lesions may require more than one treatment session or review appointment to achieve the desired outcome.

This service is for benign lesions only. We cannot treat suspicious, changing or potentially cancerous lesions.

The practitioner reserves the right to decline treatment if a lesion is unsuitable or if onward medical review is recommended.
